My client based in Livingston is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their Supply Chain Team as a Material Call Off Co-ordinator. This is a fast paced role and the successful individual must have the ability to co-ordinate, monitor and control the material requirements of the business. You'll be dealing with the changing demands of multiple customers and suppliers.

Excellent behavioural and communication skills are essential. Relationship building is critical and the ability to be flexible, agile and work within a multi-functional team is crucial.

Description & Responsibilities include;

  • You will be responsible for identifying and executing our MRP requirements on a daily and weekly basis to ensure the production plan is met and materials are in place at the right time in the right quantities.
  • Create and assign Purchase Orders to all Customers/Suppliers.
  • Monitor Production Order progress and resolve issues with Suppliers to meet order requirements, pro-actively managing orders to cancel, push out and pull in as required.
  • Identify shortages and pro-actively chase resolution to minimize Production Scheduling impact.
  • Create Warehouse to Warehouse transfer orders if relevant.
  • Communicate daily with a wide range of Customers and Suppliers to ensure the process is being managed effectively.
  • Manage Customer stocks held at warehouses both on-site and externally.
  • Manage Customer requirements for stock checks, uplifts, sample requests etc.

The Person

  • Must have a robust working knowledge of MRP/ERP based systems
  • Material Call Off and Stock Control experience essential
  • Tropos or SAP experience would be beneficial
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • A Self-motivated, Team Player with good communication skills
  • Positive attitude, ability to work flexible hours and keen to develop
  • Pro-actively seeks to continuously improve processes
  • Proficient verbal and written skills
  • Proficient Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data.
  • Effective communication and influencing skill
  • Good relationship building skills
