Job description


Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Materials Co-ordinator, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Materials and inventory co-ordination
* Maximo management
Catalogue items required for storage or inventory re-order and obtaining information from
quotes/drawings.
Maintain inventory entries and track and locate items within the inventory system.
Investigate discrepancies; acting on information after review including the relevant transaction in
Maximo.
Check Vendor movement reports against inventory system reporting any identified anomalies.
* Create and work to third party audit plan including site visits.
* Update daily, weekly and monthly reports for M & L.
* Ensure compliance for all imports and exports for company's equipment in line with HMRC regulations.
* Complete required HRMC documentation such as H034 forms for recording tied oil figures and issue to
HRMC prior deadline.
* Import equipment into the UK under the correct customs regime and HS commodity code.
* Keep updated with political policies and bills which will affect company's operations.
* Review invoice and raise DTR's with correct coding.
* Track all custom controlled materials ensuring that throughput periods are being adhered to and ensuring
that manifests/export documentation quotes the correct customs regime.
International shipping co-ordination
* Organise collection of materials required for shipping out with the UK or from other countries.
* Liaise with third parties and company's personnel to ensure equipment is being shipped with the correct mode
of transport to the correct destination.
* Prepare commercial invoices for equipment required for shipping ensuring the information is correct.
* Prepare outbound Facture ensuring compliance and check the right information is displayed both on the
Facture and the commercial invoice from third Party.
* Populate and maintain purchase order tracker ensuring all Facture numbers and estimated times of arrival
at location are included.
* Familiar with the company's Safety Policy taking all reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of self and
others as required under the health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
* Refer to Oil and Gas UK Guidelines.
* Documenting of dangerous cargo by sea.
* Participate in all safety drills, meetings, fire and safety training programmes.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Self-motivated and with a attitude pro-active positive
* Excellent team player and communicator
* Drive, energy and enthusiasim to carry out the role in an efficient and effective manner
* A natural ability to be organisated and methodical in approach
* Computer literate; Microsoft packages, Presentation, Database systems and Maximo
* Understanding of supply chain management
* Experience in a similar role
* Ability to learn from team and management.
* Methodical, systematic approach to tasks.
* Ability to take the initiative to provide solutions for a problem.
