OrionGroup are looking for a Marketing Assistant for our multinational medical devices client based in the West Yorkshire area on an initial 6-month contract.

Job purpose

Supports the work of the company's marketing teams on projects directed at development and execution of strategies to deliver above market growth across the Region.

Main responsibilities of the role

  • Support the Marketing teams in their day to day activities
  • Coordination of Marketing Councils, Team Meetings / events / Voice of Customer / Steering Councils
  • Day-to-day management of relationship with agencies and suppliers
  • Regional lead for overseeing code set-up for NPI's across several internal platforms
  • Support Marketing Managers in the launch of new products
  • Support Market requests for samples / marketing materials / interactive assets
  • Responsible for PO requisition and payment for 3rd party vendors
  • Central contact person for the County Marketing Managers in relation to EMEA Marketing activities
  • Internal lead for Congress activities, working closely with Congress team and assigned Marketing Managers
  • Coordination and production of promotional materials

Desired Background and Skillset of the successful candidate:

  • University Graduate, preferably in Marketing or similar discipline
  • Proven track record of successful marketing, sales experience
  • Excellent organisational and communicational skills
  • Ability to influence and deliver through multiple collaborative relationships
  • Strong drive and self-motivation / self-starter

******Please note there will be travel within EMEA when required to major congresses, customer facing events******
