Job description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, I will support daily production needs and improve methods for manufacturing, assembly, and testing harsh environment sensors used in radiation monitoring, nuclear reactors, and power generation.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, I will be responsible for:

* Developing and maintaining manufacturing methods and process routings
* Owning documentation packages that drive effective and efficient manufacturing processes
* Supporting efforts to improve process capability, reduce variation, and reduce overall costs
* Supporting new equipment/upgrades from purchase through installation
* Designing and building/procuring necessary tooling and fixturing
* Leading and contributing to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) projects

Required Qualifications:
* Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university
* Have five years minimum experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Technology roles

Preferred Qualifications:
* Effective problem identification and solution skills
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Proficiency with SAP a plus
* Familiarity with radiation sources and radiation safety a plus
* Proficient with SOLIDWORKS
