Manager - Marketing Operations, Inventory, Vendor, and Program Management
Purpose Statement:
The US Patient Services team is an industry leading organization, providing unparalleled patient support that results in improved brand loyalty and patient satisfaction. The Manager, Marketing Operations, Inventory, Vendor, and Program Management reports to the Associate Director, Marketing Operations and is responsible for inventory and program management as it pertains to marketing operations within Patient Services.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage the inventory of materials and products for all the Patient Services Programs
- Track the inventory levels, forecasts and run rates for a variety of products including, but not limited to: medical supplies (sharps containers, training injectors, travel cases, gloves, etc.), marketing materials (brochures, informational packets, etc.), and other items (vitamins, nutritional shakes)
- Anticipate and manage all supply chain issues with these products to ensure that product inventory is available for patients
- Work with vendors to obtain the materials needed for programs and manage contracts and purchase orders
- Provide program management in support of marketing execution for Patient Services Marketing
- Research new products as needed and work with other members of the Patient Services marketing and franchise strategy team to identify products that support patients on company treatments
- Identify efficiencies and process improvements for inventory management and acquisition
- Manage the relationship with the company distribution center and coordinate on any inventory storage, packaging or mailing issues - including the return and / or destruction of expired items
- Support marketing team as they execute other efforts unrelated to inventory management
Qualifications:
- Position requires BS degree in a related area
- 5+ years' experience leading a customer success team or professional services operation
- 5+ years' experience in vendor and stakeholder management
- 5+ years' experience in project management
- Demonstrated knowledge of business and management principles involved in inventory management
- Experience with marketing operations and CRM practices, and familiarity with digital channels including (but not limited to) social media, chat, artificial intelligence-based chat, email, and text/SMS
- Experience interpreting reporting documents and comfortable working with data (patient flow data and forecasting to anticipate inventory needs)
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, purchasing, and distribution
- TQM experience desired
