Large project development for a leading construction/engineering company is seeking, ideally, a permanent Management Reporting Analyst. The successful candidate will be fully Qualified/Finalist and will be responsible for the preparation of management reports for the company/Group, including the day to day control over corporate risk and control reporting.

Management Reporting Analyst will be based in London, W1



  • Initially assist the Financial Controller designing, developing and improving existing systems to enable the preparation of timely, comprehensive and detailed management reports
  • Instrumental to the design, formation and construction of the monthly reporting pack for presentation to management and Group
  • Provide detailed commentary and variance analysis in support of the monthly reporting packs
  • Presentation of monthly results and reporting construction progress to senior management
  • Provision of ad-hoc financial data and analysis to senior management or Group as required
  • Refine current reporting on 'Asset under construction' categories
  • Business partner with construction, operations and functional leads; provide robust monthly cost centre & business unit reports, reviews and analysis
  • Play a key role in preparation of budgets, forecasts and reforecasts
  • Work closely with budget holders, tracking spend v. budget and explain variance drivers
  • Production of scheduled and ad-hoc management risk reports
  • Develop KPI reporting
  • Monthly analysis and review of assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Provide financial information to the wider finance team to support the monthly financial close
  • Assist with documentation of financial processes


  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA - Qualified/Finalist
  • Highly organised, exceptional delivery and communication skills
  • Ability to interact at all levels
  • Demonstrable experience of improving and designing management reports
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAGE 200 - desirable
  • Team player with a collaborative work ethic
