MOC Coordinator

Responsibilities:

This role supports operations and engineering with the MOC process and tool, they will report to the IMDC Manager. This role is based in the Anchorage office but may require slope visits (<10%, 1-2 days in duration).

The MOC Coordinator will:

* Act as SPOC for all questions and concerns related to MOC requirements
* Act as SPA for MOC system and be the primary contact for system updates or outages.
* Create and modify current MOC guides, policies and procedures to meet Group Defined Practices and Upstream procedures.
* Provide monthly KPI data to Leadership team on MOC trends, identifying gaps or improvement needs.
* Conduct MOC Self Assessments with Leadership on a routine basis and coach as needed. Participate in all MOC related internal and external audits.
* Provide and/or organize all training requirements for all MOC related courses for stakeholders in Anchorage or on North Slope.

Deliverables:

Align MOC processes and procedures to align with Group Standard. Embed all related MOC requirements into organization with assurance that all employees are trained and competency to perform their tasks within the eMOC tool. This position is also tasked with interpreting and questioning existing processes, leading process mapping exercises to identify MOC deficiencies and documenting recommended changes for agreement with Operations and Engineering leadership.

Preferred Background:

  • Degree qualified
  • 5+ Years of experience in Project/Plant Process Safety Management
  • 3+ Years industry experience with oil production, refining or chemical facilities
  • Familiar with Management of Change Software
  • Familiar with PSM Management of Change process or/has a strong Process Safety Management
