An Entrepreneurial business in the heart of Glasgow have engaged exclusively with Orion's Accountancy and Finance division to recruit a Management Accountant / Financial Controller designate. Due to planned growth where the business will double in size, our client is looking to bring the accounting and payroll process in house to further aid the quality of decision making and financial information. Ideally you will be CIMA/ICAS/ACCA qualified and have experience of working in a multi-site environment. You will work closely with the external accountants to create new processes and improve the ones that already exist.

Reporting to the Managing Director the main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Management and completion of Monthly and Bi-weekly payroll
  • Monthly and weekly cashflow projections
  • Liaise with the Auditors
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Completion of VAT returns
  • Support the Senior management team with up to date M.I
  • Maintenance of financial records on line and consolidations
  • Adhoc duties as required

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and career motivated individual. There will be the need to get involved in many of the transactional processes ensuring accuracy at all times. You will have exposure to many different tasks and operational growth strategies.
