The Accountancy and Finance team at The Orion Group are delighted to be working in exclusive and retained partnership with an exciting, growing and progressive business in Stirling. This is a key role within the company's finance function, supporting the Financial Controller and the Corporate Accountant. Given the level and exposure of the post it is essential that the right candidate has a strong work ethic, taking responsibility for their duties and delivering an excellent standard of accurate numbers to tight deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and reporting of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Provide commercial commentary on monthly management results
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
  • Assist in the preparation of year end accounts
  • Prepare company group consolidated accounts
  • Assist the Financial Controller with cashflow forecasting
  • Build key internal and external relationships
  • Drive continuous improvements within the team

Candidate Profile

This position requires a confident and experienced individual, preferably within manufacturing or with a business who's predominant focus is on stock. You will be able to build strong relationships across the group and be able to liaise confidently with external suppliers. This business is growing at a significant rate and the ability to grow with it and make a difference is essential.

Candidate Requirements

Ideally you will be a fully Qualified CIMA or ACCA Accountant with strong excel and presentation skills. You will also have experience of working within a stock focused environment and will proficient in using ERP systems.
