Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Management Accountant, based in Aberdeen

Responsibilities will include:
Prepare monthly and annual financial and analytical reports.
Ensure timely submission of periodic group reporting in line with Group reporting timetable.
Perform in depth review of the Income Statement
Assist in the production of monthly financial and business reports which can assist in the making of business decisions.
Liaise with company auditors and advisors in relation to the audit and finalisation of the company statutory accounts.
Preparation of monthly/annual forecast and budgets, based on information supplied by Operational Management.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual cash flow forecasts/budget and manage the cash in line with the agreed forecasts.
Preparation of tax calculations and packs
Variance analysis in relation to job costs and materials
Carry out other financial and accounting functions and ad hoc exercises as required

Qualifications and Experience:
Experience of ERP systems
Previous experience in a similar role, within fast-paced environment.
ACCA/CIMA/ICA finalist
SAP experience is desirable
Logical with attention to detail
Ability to deliver high quality reports.
Understanding of Stock and related processes
