Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Advisor based in Aberdeen

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide maintenance support to on and offshore maintenance teams and co-ordinate key maintenance activities.
Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance and accordance with Company and statutory Health and Safety Procedures, maintenance manuals, specific working instructions, recommended safe working practices and control of work policy.
Responsible for the implementation of Maintenance Strategies, ensuring they are effective and subject to continuous review and improvement. Participate in the development of new strategies, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
Improve equipment criticality assessment and preventative maintenance allocation in line with best practice.
Interrogate CMMS to review equipment performance to identify where Maintenance Strategy improvement opportunities exist.
Ownership of 'bad actors', identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
Effectively manage campaign maintenance activities including shutdown related workscopes and NUI interventions.
Responsible for equipment repair/returns process including process of despatch, vendor liaison and associated logistics.
Liaison with offshore maintenance supervisor, lead discipline technicians, onshore support engineers, and supply chain representatives.
Utilise Maximo to coordinate Work Orders, requisitions and associated maintenance requirements.
Ensure alignment of vendor scopes with the 7 day, 28 day and 90 day plan coordinating mobilisation of personnel and materials in a timely manner.
Support offshore work preparation process, pro-actively manage materials availability at the work site
Liaise closely with key vendors and contractors to ensure satisfactory level of service is continuously achieved.
Act as Contract Focal Point for nominated Contracts.
Provide input to the asset Maintenance planning and scheduling process as required ensuring appropriate prioritisation of corrective work
Pro-actively identify opportunities for reduction in maintenance backlog
Provide input to maintenance budgeting and stewardship processes.
Provide input and support to the Shutdown Management Process
Provide input to the critical spares assessments
Manage Material Masters and liaise with Warehousing regarding Safety Stock, Slow Movers and the disposal process.
Stand in for Maintenance Team Lead where required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Industry recognised "indentured" apprenticeship in core discipline (Elect, Mech, Inst) or equivalent certification.
NVQ Level 3- Engineering Maintenance or similar.
HNC in core maintenance discipline preferred but not essential.
Experience in maintenance activities within the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industry.
Thorough knowledge of the range of offshore Process and Utility equipment on an oil and gas processing facility.
In depth working knowledge of CMMS (Maximo preferred, but not essential).
