Our Role

This role will involve Street Lighting and other highway LV jointing. This is a physically demanding job and you will be required to work outdoors and at height. An ability to work within a team as well as individually is essential as is good communication and organisational skills.

Your Skills and Experience

In this role you will need to possess a full understanding of utility drawings, the use of CAT and Genny equipment and preferably you will have experience of working in the vicinity of underground services (G39 Regs). New Roads Street Works Act (NRSWA ) qualifications would also be desirable.

It is essential that you have a jointers qualification ideally under NERS and an advanced knowledge of the local road network and layout would be beneficial.

Safety is our number one priority so you should be confident to act on your own initiative in all situations. Previous experience of the Street Lighting industry including operating machinery and working on the highway would be an advantage.

As this appointment forms part of our growth plans, flexibility and willingness to work away is a requirement. You may be required to work across the whole of the Cotswolds area.

A full UK driving licence with an ability to drive over 3.5 tonne up to 7.5 tonne would be desirable.
