Logistics Operatives (SC CLEARED)
Location - Babcock, HM Naval Base Clyde
Contract - 6 months+
Rate - £17.32 per hour + holiday pay + overtime + shift allowance
Our client, Babcock International based at Faslane, Clyde, G84 8HL are seeking skilled Logistics Operatives for ongoing contract roles. Ideal candidates will hold SC level security clearance.
Joining a busy team to provide a range of Logistics and Warehouse activities to ensure material is received, managed, issued and dispatched to meet contractual obligations.
Using Babcock internal computer systems including the MoD Legacy system to ensure stock levels are recorded correctly.
Work within H&S Legislation, Safe Systems of Work and control of work processes in accordance with Babcock Clyde policies.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Must hold valid UK Driving Licence Category B
- Carriage of Dangerous Goods Awareness
- Dangerous Goods Awareness (Transport & Storage)
- Trade Controls Practitioner
- Spill Awareness
- Warehouse Processes
- Computerised stock control
- Mechanical Handling Equipment

Role will require heavy lifting, strenuous effort and working at height/on scaffold.
Rates of pay:
Basic - £17.32 per hour + £2.52 per hour holiday pay
Midweek O/T - £25.98 per hour + £3.78 per hour holiday pay
Shift Allowance - £23.04 per hour + £3.35 per hour holiday pay
Nightshift - £24.75 per hour + £3.60 per hour holiday pay
