Logistics Administrator

Our client is a manufacturing company in Glenrothes, currently seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their

team for a period of 3 to 4 months starting immediately.

Main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Working in a small team with manual handling duties, the responsibilities of this varied role will include:

  • Receiving all incoming goods and delivering materials to appropriate departments
  • Arranging domestic and export shipments via courier, airfreight, sea freight and road freight
  • Preparing items for shipment (wrapping, packing and labelling)
  • Making sure goods are despatched to strict deadlines whilst adhering to company procedures
  • Ensuring all documents are completed accurately including invoices, certificates of origins, insurance and quality certificates along with all export and import documentation
  • Ensuring spares and raw materials are booked in/out from stores

It would be advantageous if you are familiar with export/customs documentation and have been in a Stores/Warehouse environment previously.

Hours of work 08.30 to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
