Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Lead Planning Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Lead the planning support on the major new UKCS FPSO Development Project. Construct and maintain the define stage integrated plan covering progress updates for Project Management, FPSO, Subsea, Wells and Pre-Operations work phase areas. Work with main Contractors to ensure robust schedule baseline data, and effective project controls, and processes are in place to underpin the overall integrated planning process. Conduct regular schedule analysis, highlighting any work phase areas where project target milestone attainment is identified at threat. Complete scenario level planning and benchmark duration reviews to support development plan and budget process. Deliver planning input into the project performance reporting process. Input to tender schedule requirements and tender evaluation process. Coordinate and participate in internal and joint venture cost and schedule risk analysis.

It will be Aberdeen based and will be initially for a year with extensions thereafter. Overall project will run for up to 3 to 4 years. Ideally candidates will have greenfield project experience.
