Lead Engineer Piping
Job description

As a Lead Engineer Piping you will be responsible for leading medium and large multidisciplinary projects. You will lead a team of Engineers, Designers for several offshore / Onshore projects and assist the Project Manager for project related activities. You have strong leadership skills and proven experience with leading multidisciplinary projects on onshore and/or offshore within the Oil & Gas and Chemical industry.

Your responsibilities

* You provide coaching and plan knowledge sharing sessions or training on the job for the team members;
* You produce necessary design documents within the field;
* You will ensure the quality of the deliverables;
* You will prepare work descriptions, investment estimates, bid evaluations, cost- and hours estimates for construction activities;
* You will monitor planning, budget, schedule and administer scope change management;
* You will interpret regulations and guidelines within the scope of the project;
* You will be the focal point within discipline for the project for client;
* You will prepare datasheets for piping components;

Your profile

* Bachelor degree in or equivalent working and thinking level and at least 10 years of experience (Piping engineering background is preferred);
* You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English both written and spoken;
* You have hands-on experience with PDMS, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Word and Excel;
* You have knowledge of engineering codes ASME, EN and Norsok;
