Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Lead Performance Improvement, based in Aberdeen on a 12 month Maternity cover basis.

Responsibilities:
* Asset focal point for Liaison with the Corporate Strategy and Performance Team and Corporate Audit Team, collaborating to propose and develop asset/corporate framework, e.g., Asset/Corporate Audit & Monitoring Plans, KPI process
* Collaborate with all asset teams to ensure cross-asset working and best practice, e.g., Lessons learned, transverse improvement opportunities
* Monitor the derogation and Non-Conformance registers to ensure that variations to Company standards are treated correctly
* Supervise and mentor KPI Coordinator
* Establishing, developing, enhancing then managing the KPI and Performance monitoring, reporting and follow up for the Asset, e.g., collaborating with Corporate Strategy and Performance Team and cross-asset
* Actively seek opportunities to contribute to maximizing the value of our Assets by creating innovative continuous improvement
* Responsible for preparing, monitoring and confirming responsibilities for the overall Asset improvement action plan, co-ordinating the implementation of the approved initiatives and adopting the most relevant methodology approved by company, e.g., Lean process reviews, 3C etc.
* CI&I focal point, promoting CI&I methodology within the asset, supporting CI&I coaches and development of the CI&I network.
* Promote a comprehensive company approach to CI&I initiatives whilst improving the performance of the Asset.
* Develop and recommend CI&I Asset Strategy, communicating and negotiating to achieve Asset 'buy-in', with quarterly Asset CI&I Steering committees.
* 3C Asset focal point, reviewing and discussing with the roadmap owners to agree and track milestones against the progress, escalating as required to the Performance & Growth manager or project sponsors.
* LEAN Asset focal point, responsible for driving and tracking project progress within Asset and driving the LEAN training plan objectives.
* Responsible for promoting CI&I initiatives in liaison with the Corporate Performance & Growth team to ensure the sharing of "lessons learned".
* Working with the corporate audit team, responsible for developing the annual Asset audit schedule and coordinating the timely execution of the Audit Plan in liaison with the Corporate Audit team
* Monitor, track and escalate Audit actions, recommendations and findings through to completion
* Preparation of Audit status reporting and remedial action for the Audit Steering committee
* Actively participate in external or internal Audits as required and agreed by the Performance and Growth Manager
* Monitor, track and escalate actions, recommendations and findings through to completion
* Create an IM Strategy that helps drive the Asset's continuous improvement
* Key Asset liaison with the Enterprise Information Management team, proposing and collaborating to develop asset/corporate framework, e.g., Document schedules, company IM Governance, etc.
* Establishing, developing and enhancing Asset IMA managed service & KPI Coordinator roles to ensure that the needs of the asset are met
* Review and challenge and propose company policies, rules, guidelines and procedures to ensure requirements are based on Legal, Regulatory or Group requirements
* Establishing, developing and implementing new ways of working with the company management system (CMS), to enable Asset ownership of L3/L4 processes and procedures,

Experience & Qualifications:
* Educated to Degree level in a relevant degree
* Relevant experience gained within the Oil & Gas industry
* Extensive Information Management knowledge and experience gained within the Oil & Gas industry
* Significant experience in business analysis and project delivery
* Skills and experience in analytical techniques, business case development, strategy and policy definition, decision-making and project management
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Understanding of LEAN methodologies and tools
* Project management experience including benefit realization (e.g., Performance Improvements, Lean or 3Cprojects etc)
* Change management and facilitation techniques
* Experienced in a range of Information Management tools and solutions e.g., Documetum, Windows shared drive, SharePoint, Outlook etc
* Experienced in Microsoft PowerBI
* Development of governance policies and procedures
