Job description

Orion Group are currently recruiting for Lead HVAC Installation Engineers on a permanent basis for one of our industry leading clients in the Central Belt of Scotland.

Location: Central Belt - Glasgow / Cumbernauld/ Edinburgh

Salary/Rate: £30,000 - £35,000 + Company Van + Enhanced overtime rates

The Job:

* In this role you will be leading a team of HVAC Engineers on several projects, carrying out the installation and commissioning of the Air-conditioning units as well as commercial refrigeration systems
* You will be working with design engineers, project manager and liaising with customers when needed to ensure the Installation work is delivered on time and to the agreed specification and design
* Your role will involve carrying out commissioning and installation of HVAC equipment and leading a team of experienced engineers
* Use safe systems of working, Health and Safety Regulations and site H&S requirements
* Maintain a close working relationship with the client in order to deliver the customers aims and objectives

Essential Requirements:

* Significant experience in the commissioning of HVAC systems (working with major manufacturers of AC equipment, such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Hitachi)
* Experience with ventilation and balancing ducting systems
* Computer literate / able to pick up the process using various software systems
* Capable of working without detailed procedures and with limited supervision
* A full UK driving license
