Our client, an oil & gas operating company are urgently recruiting for a HVAC Lead to support in all HVAC and MTH related matters on their offshore South America project on a contract basis.


The service holder shall:

o Assist Project in all rotating machinery and thermal equipment (MTH) related matters.

o Assist Project in all Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC or HVA) related matters.

o Supervise MTH and HVA engineering activities related for the design of the project topside Shelter.

o Supervise and co-ordinate MTH and HVA studies and relevant interfaces with (if any) MTH and HVA related studies outside EPSCC main contract.

o Ensure proper and optimized design of all MTH and HVA equipment and related materials

o Provide support to the Architecture Discipline for the Shelter physical design

o Provide support to the Structural Discipline regarding sizes and weights for weight control of the offshore project.

o Prepare, propose and follow up on documentation, taking any necessary corrective actions.

o Initiate 3rd party verification activities of MTH and HVA discipline (if applicable / required).

o Ensure awareness of and compliance with HSE rules and regulations, which here also shall be understood to include work environment by subordinates and contractors.


o Starting date: May 2018

o Duration : till December 2019

o Location: to be defined: Asia region / Europe / GOM Position based at EPSCC contractor offices and yard (location not yet defined), with missions to subcontractors or entities outside.

o Status: residential


o Engineer with proven experience in Detailed Engineering and Construction of MTH Equipment and HVA systems for Offshore Facilities (including Topsides) in Oil and Gas production projects.

o Experience in Offshore MTH and HVA design, Calculations. Knowledge and experience with MTH and HVA design software.

o Previous experience in Offshore Projects.

o Knowledge of risk control, best safety practices in Design applied to Offshore Oil and gas facilities, especially in Offshore platforms

o Mandatory fluent English (including technical)

o Full-time availability to be based at EPSCC Contractor's premises, and mobility as required.

o Good interpersonal and communication skills.
