Orion group are recruiting for LB Scheduler on behalf of our Multinational Client based in Worcester, UK - 6 months (with the possibility to extend / Possible temp to perm)


Work schedule: Shifts (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am) 1 hour unpaid break per shift, 4 days on/4 days off to include weekends and bank holidays). Paid overtime.


We are looking for an experienced planner/scheduler for our Liquid Bulk distribution team. Previous experience working shifts is preferred, excellent communication skills, great team player, excellent PC and willing to be trained on new software.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with scheduling/planning is essential.
  • Must be able to work independently and collectively as a team.
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs and proactively respond.
  • Have good geographical knowledge.
  • Advantageous to have experience with transport regulations.
  • Effectively review own performance to ensure compliance to job requirements.
  • Ability to learn technical and functional systems to perform effectively within - SAP and LBShell.
  • Must have excellent PC skills.
  • A knowledge of SAP and a logistical background would be an advantage.
  • Must be a highly motivated, self-starting individual.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
