Our client is currently recruiting for the position of JV Analyst, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Support business and SAP project teams in identifying and resolving legacy and data migration data issues
Support data migration team in migration of data from SAP legacy system to SAP global template
Working across business, local project implementation team, SAP Support & HQ project implementation team to test and validate proposed data corrections
Finance data extraction, analysis and reconciliation
Where required, hands on upload and reconciliation of data correction postings
Identifying and supporting implementation of process improvements to improve Finance data quality
Identification and supporting implementation of potential system or control improvements to improve Finance data quality
Plan workload and communicate status updates on progress and issues

Qualifications / Experience
Significant experience using SAP FI/CO/JV Finance modules
Understanding of SAP processes and data structures
Technical knowledge of SAP tables beneficial, but not essential
Accounting skills (part-qualified or qualified beneficial, but not essential)
Understanding of Upstream Oil & Gas Finance processes
Skilled/Expert in Excel or Access
Understanding of oil and gas industry processes
Strong communication skills, written and oral
Strong analytic skills
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work with minimal supervision
