We are seeking an IT Project Manager with a track record of managing change within a large international business. Based in Aberdeen.

Role Requirements / Skills:
Strong skills across all the project management knowledge areas of: Integration Management, Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, People Management, Communications Management, Stakeholder Management, Risk Management and Procurement Management.
Ideally, a certification / qualification in project management, e.g. PRINCE2 or PMP; alternatively, proven experience and a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Strong oil & gas related project delivery experience, with good domain and business process knowledge across the various offshore Oil & Gas business areas.
Good knowledge, and project delivery experience, of the types of IT systems used to support offshore Oil & Gas business areas, such as: maintenance, procurement, logistics, permit-to-work, HSE&A, integrity, wells, sub-surface, real-time systems, metering, hydrocarbon accounting, production optimisation, cyber security etc.
Good understanding of commercial / procurement processes involved in projects.
Good requirements gathering and analysis skills, and ability to clearly define scopes of work.
Experience in constructing business cases to support business demand / requirements.
Excellent listening and communication skills. At ease dealing with technical resources and with managerial level client personnel, up to the most senior management levels.
Experience of managing third-party vendors, and remote workers, to deliver work-scopes to time and budget.
Strong people management skills, with the ability to "bring people along" with them.
Strong skills and experience in managing business change, with evidence of that in past project delivery.
Resilient, self-motivated, self-sufficient, well organised and 'flexible' character, who can work with minimal supervision and direction, and who is unfazed by the challenges and difficulties which inevitably arise in a project
Ability to manage a number of concurrent projects, prioritising and 'juggling' workload as required.
Takes ownership of all aspects of a project and understands that they are responsible for successful delivery, finding solutions for problems and threats to project delivery.
Strong issue resolution abilities - someone who takes ownership of issues and who can manage and co-ordinate resources to ensure that these are worked through to resolution and closure.
Experience of system transitions as part of asset acquisitions / divestments would be advantageous.
Knowledge and experience of IT change control practices is required.
Knowledge of ITIL processes would be desirable.
