OrionGroup are looking for an IT Project Manager for our multinational lifesciences client based in the West Yorkshire area on an initial 6-month contract basis.

Role Purpose:
The Value Creation Project Manager is to provide support to the Value Creation Solution Managers in the development, launch and ongoing work across a range of Patient Pathway Solutions in the key clinical areas of Surgery, Oncology, Obesity, Select Cardiovascular Disease Areas, Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis across EMEA.

Main responsibilities of the role:
In supporting the VC Solution Managers, the VC Project Manager will provide targeted and focused input to a number of workstreams across the team's portfolio of work as determined by the Patients Pathways & eHealth Lead. Priorities for the VC Project Manager will change over time as different workstreams flow through the project lifecycle. Key areas of responsibility the VC Project Manager will include:

  • Supporting the Value Creation Solution Managers development activities in relation to the Care4Today digital solution
  • Supporting the Value Creation Solution Managers development of care pathway solutions for their disease areas
  • Supporting the Value Creation Solution Managers to enhance digital solution content by capturing inputs and recommendations from selected KOLs across EMEA; develop new versions of the content in collaboration with EMEA and Global Franchises
  • Producing of a monthly highlight report on the team's work for key stakeholders across EMEA, including Strategic Capabilities, the franchises, countries and functions

Desired Background and Skillset of the successful candidate:

  • 3+ years business experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical sector
  • Degree in science, pharmacy, medicine , health economics or other related discipline
  • Experience in change management or project management
  • Experience in managing complex revenue generating projects
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Essential Languages: English
  • Desired second language: German, French, Italian or Spanish
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams and geographies; strong track record of successful engagement with clinical & non-clinical stakeholders
  • Strong Project management orientation with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage complex projects to completion; track record for execution is essential, with experience working in transformational change programmes or portfolios highly desirable
  • Understanding of the patient care pathway concept
  • Background in digital health technology is advantageous, eg patient engagement, telemedicine, wearables
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team and remotely as an individual
  • Versatility and flexibility, with an appetite for moving between workstreams as required
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional matrix to successfully deliver objectives to time and budget
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate

    Please note successful candidate will need the ability and willingness to travel across EMEA, minimum 40% of time (occasionally over a weekend)
