Orion Group are recruiting an IT PMO & Compliance Analyst for a contract role on behalf of our Multinational Medial Device Client located in Northern Scotland.

The Opportunity:

We have an excellent opportunity for an IT senior analyst position within the ERP & Corporate Systems team responsible for the implementation of compliance policies and processes and the running of the project management office (PMO) for the applications within the team (JD Edwards, Oracle Procurement Cloud etc.).

Job Focus:

The key focus of this role will be managing all aspects of IT compliance and PMO within the ERP & Corporate systems team.

Responsibilities may also include:

  • IT compliance/validation
    • Lead the implementation of the SV&V methodology (replacement of J&J SDLC).
    • Drive the project teams to adopt the SV&V methodology and implement control mechanisms to ensure adherence to standards.
    • Implement program of continuous improvement to drive efficiencies in compliance.
    • Act as SME/training lead for all compliance related queries in the team.
    • Assist with review and approval of test cases.
  • Running the PMO for the team
    • Project Charters, Validation, Project plans etc. created and updated for each project according to standard templates.
    • Project progress reports, RAID logs etc. updated on a regular basis.
    • Ensuring project deliverables comply with SV&V methodology.

Requirements for this role include:

  • +3 years of experience quality/compliance processes.
  • +1 years of PMO experience gained in complex, global project - ideally with the JD Edwards application.
  • Extensive experience of using Enable, ClearQuest, HPALM.
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
