Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Inventory Analyst, based in Aberdeen

Responsibilities will include:
Provision of Materials Management (MM) expertise
Delivery of Material Management requirements, including:
Input to the work scheduling and planning process
Optimising Inventory by reviewing and identifying dormant, excess equipment and obsolescence
Management of Change (MOC) for recommended replacements of obsolete stock
Manage inventory levels and replenishment based on data analysis (demand, consumption history, forecasting), business liaison and stocking strategies
Set up and maintain relevant Inventory master data including new MMRF
Completion of Inventory checks are carried out in line with annual checking plan and as an outcome of this, inventory records are in line with physical stock
Compliance with HMRC and SOX Legislation in accordance with Disposal procedures and Audit procedures

Skills & Experience
Proven ability in development and maintenance of effective, influencing relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
Track record in data analysis is strongly preferred, together with experience in use of data to influence business decisions
Demonstrable track record in generating/implementing ideas that result in continuous improvement
Delivering commercial solutions with speed and simplicity
Knowledge and experience of Material Management processes and systems is preferred. These include:
SAP-IM and SAP-MM to control material and warehouse activities
Material Master and Bill of Material processes
Stock optimisation (i.e. surplus management), Inventory levels and stocking strategy
