Due to a new warehouse launch, an existing fixed term contract opportunity has to come to market with a leading Healthcare company, based in the North West of England. My client is seeking an experienced, Interim Warehouse Shift Manager who is immediately to start.

Key Responsibilities;

  • The main priorities of your role will be the management of the warehouse operations in a multi temperature environment
  • Ensuring health & safety is adhered to and the operation is fully compliant
  • Accurate and timely planning of daily work volumes in order to meet customer expectations and SLA's.
  • This is a fast paced, high volume environment and as such will require strong leadership and the ability to make an impact quickly
  • Monitor team performance in order to achieve productivity and cost targets.
  • Ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner keeping to all deadlines

You will require the following;

  • A proven track record of managing teams
  • Previous experience of managing a multi-temperature warehouse /distribution centre
  • Knowledge of KPI's and their application
  • Able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work
  • Excellent communication across all levels.
  • Shift pattern 6am-2pm / 2pm-10am
