The Accountancy and Finance team at The Orion Group are delighted to be working in exclusive and retained partnership with an exciting, growing and progressive business in Stirling to find a Interim Management Accountant for a 3 month period initially. This is a key role within the finance department and with recent growth requires someone who is experienced in the field and can hit the ground running on very short notice.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and reporting of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Provide commercial commentary on monthly management results
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
  • Assist in the preparation of year end accounts
  • Prepare company group consolidated accounts
  • Assist the Financial Controller with cash-flow forecasting
  • Build key internal and external relationships
  • Drive continuous improvements within the team

Candidate Profile

This position requires a confident and experienced individual, preferably within manufacturing or with a business who's predominant focus is on stock. You will be able to liaise confidently with external suppliers. This business is growing at a significant rate and the ability to work in a fast paced environment is essential.

Candidate Requirements

You will be a fully Qualified CIMA or ACCA Accountant with strong excel and presentation skills. You will also have experience of working within a stock focused environment and will proficient in using ERP systems.
