An exciting opportunity has to come to market with a leading Construction company, based in Stirling. My client is seeking an experienced, Interim HR Advisor who is immediately to start.

Key Responsibilities;

As interim HR Advisor, you'll be responsible for;

  • Delivering an effective HR service to the assigned business areas, assisting People Leaders to understand and implement policies and procedures and in line with best practice in people management.
  • Building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Working closely with business leaders and managers to monitor HR practices and ensure compliance providing professional advice and guidance.
  • Leading in case management across your business areas, complex attendance issues, performance management, grievance, restructures, redundancies and revaluation of posts in accordance with both policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring consistency and compliance with case management highlighting trends for the wider HR team learning.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and update Staff Handbooks as appropriate. Ensuring that policies are kept up to date on all relevant drives.
  • Supporting People Leaders in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues such as attendance review meetings, performance management, grievance, disciplinary, restructures and redundancies and re-evaluation of posts, in accordance with both policies and procedures and best practice.

You will require the following;

  • Relevant experience gained in a similar environment.
  • Chartered or Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
  • Commercially aware
  • Focused and highly motivated
  • Planning/prioritising and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Good team player and good initiative
  • A valid UK Driver's License is required as travel will be required to various locations throughout the UK
