An existing opportunity has to come to market with a leading Healthcare company, based in the North West of England. My client is seeking an immediately available, experienced, Interim General Manager to launch and manage a new Warehouse site.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Launch, manage and lead the launch of brand new contract/warehouse site
  • Implement and refine operational processes and systems
  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Recruitment & Training of new team
  • Day to day management of staff
  • Providing an efficient and high quality service by ensuring safe warehousing and delivery of all products, within the required product guidelines.
  • Pro- actively manage and takes responsibility for all of Health & Safety issues and ensure legal compliance.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is operating within the legislative requirements of VOSA and DVLA
  • Initially an 18-month contract

You will require the following;

  • Extensive senior operational experience ideally in the Pharmaceutical, logistics sector.
  • Experience of managing the set-up/implementation of a new warehouse site from an operational and commercial perspective.
  • Proven track record of managing a successful team
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of problem solving and solid analytical skill capability to look at and find solutions for a variety of operational challenges
  • Articulate, presentable and confident enough to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Experience of running multi - temperature vehicles
  • CPC essential
  • Immediately available
  • Initial 18-month contract

  • Competitive daily rate - c£300 - £325 (dependant on experience)
