Job description

OCCMS require Instrument Commissioning Technicians for a Gas Terminal based in Hull. This is an immediate requirement which will run through until the end of September.

1. Technical Ability
a. Sound technical ability and track record of working on ESD, DCS, F&G, Instrumentation & Control equipment.
b. Competent at delivering work scopes in collaboration with the wider technical team and ability to deliver against key milestones as defined by the Lead Commissioning Engineer or Commissioning Manager
2. Technical Compliance with commissioning processes and comfortable with taking direction from the lead commissioning engineer in the performance of their duties.
a. Excellent technical knowledge of field instrumentation and control systems for the purposes of functional testing and checking
b. Technical knowledge / familiarity and understanding of metering packages and associated control systems
c. Excellent understanding of completions management processes and familiar with systemised commissioning delivery
d. Familiarity and confidence in carrying out or being part of commissioning walk down teams / punch clearance teams
3. Flexible approach to the working hours with a positive team member and safety conscious attitude at all times.
