Job description

Our Client, the UK's leading bespoke private water supply specialists currently have a full-time time staff vacancy for an Installation / Field Engineer to join their Stirling based facility.

Reporting to the Operations Manager/Operations Co-ordinator, the successful post holder will undertake the installation and servicing of a variety of water treatment plant and equipment including: submersible borehole pumps, booster pumps, holding tanks, specialist filters and sterilisers involved in the supply of potable water. The installations will range from small-scale private domestic units to larger commercial facilities.

Main duties:

  • Undertaking installation and servicing works as directed by the Operations Manager/Operations Co-ordinator.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company and statutory Health and Safety Regulations at all times.
  • Undertaking other works (i.e., assist with drilling, follow-ups, call-outs, job preparation, servicing) as may be directed by the Operations Manager/Operations Co-ordinator.
  • Ensuring completed site visit reports, logs and records are submitted.

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Technical background
  • Mechanical and/or electrical qualifications would be advantageous
  • Relevant and demonstrable experience in understanding pumps, filters and control systems however applications from Graduate Engineers are also encouraged

Additional requirements:

  • Full UK Driving licence (essential) - company commercial vehicle will be provided for the successful candidate
  • Trailer Licence - desirable (training can be provided)
  • Installation works can be undertaken throughout Scotland and the North of England, and on occasions other locations which may require overnight periods away from home
