Purpose of Job
Define the strategy and design of SAP Security and controls (roles, authorization objects profiles etc) for all SAP processes of all systems.
Moreover, Subject Matter expert in the area of SAP Security and Controls and responsible to provide advice and operational support for all security & authorization enquiries. In addition, monitors role mapping, users and licenses for all SAP systems.

Principal Accountabilities
* Develop strategy for SAP Security and Controls
* Develop strategy for proactive and reactive management of all security and controls aspects.
* As primary security architect, design system process controls as per approval of SAP Continuous Improvement Board for SAP ECC, BW/BI, SRM and SAPpHiRe
* Provide analysis, alternatives, and recommendations to security-related change requests
* Define authorization naming conventions
* Review authorization structure in SAP ECC, BW/BI, SRM and SAPpHiRe, determine areas of inconsistency and propose solutions
* Identify new authorization concepts to apply in the SAP system to achieve better control and audit trail
* Undertake security design activities as well as execution including testing of authorization objects and SAP roles (in an integrated manner with involvement of all functional solution architects)
* Act as IM&T SAP Focal point into any GRC forums to understand the on-going SAP controls initiatives with Shell & other companies and subsequently suggest/implement the appropriate ones in CLIENT.
* Work closely with SAP AG to realize the new initiatives/changes in SAP GRC framework.
* Custodian of SAP compliance tool i.e. GRC.
* Monitor number and types of users in the different SAP systems and periodically report statistics and recommended actions to Integration, Quality & Change Manager.
* Prepare quarterly users licenses reports.
* Implement recommendations of Governance, Risk and Assurance team (in Finance) in regards to the SoD rules at the level SAP t-codes within SAP roles
* Prepare and execute tests of newly designed or modified SAP roles and coordinate UAT
* Analyze and report security incidents and alerts
* Provide technical support to end users in regards to access and security issues (non role mapping)

Requirements
* An energetic professional with minimum 7 years experience with proven delivery capability
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent (MBA is an asset)
* Previous Oil & Gas Industry Experience is a plus
* SAP support delivery experience
* Minimum of 6 Years of SAP Experience in specialized domain
* Hands-on involvement in a minimum of 4 Full Cycle SAP Implementations
* SAP Certification in specialized SAP Modules is a plus
* Strong Technical Skills (authorization & controls, BW, testing, data migration, etc.)
* Strong Functional Skills (different SAP processes, training, integration, etc.)
* Effective communicator with good influencing skills
* Goal oriented with a high degree of achievement drive and initiative and ability to get things done
* High analytical ability combined with pragmatic approach to solving problems
* Strong knowledge of business processes in specialized domain with good knowledge of other functional areas of EP business
* Strong appreciation and knowledge of integration aspects
* Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed implementation level
* Good management, communication, presentation, facilitation, interpersonal and teamwork skills (PMI certification is an asset)

Challenges
* Good communication with client process architects as well as solution architects and Finance compliance team
* Ability to balance between the functional support to Finance compliance team and the ultimate responsibility of designing controls and roles
* Ability to ensure authorization objects are produced with high quality and according to standards
* Ensure integration among different SAP modules and applications in terms of process controls
