Job Summary

  • To competently, diligently and safely carry out preventative and corrective maintenance duties as directed by COMPANY representatives in line with the Site HVAC maintenance strategy.

Job Description

  • General duties include: maintenance of HVAC systems & components in hazardous and non-hazardous areas.
  • Carry out Planned maintenance routines to enable safe and continuous operation of HVAC Systems at site. Where necessary: assist with the prioritisation of work to minimise the backlog of Safety Critical Equipment maintenance.
  • Carry out fault-finding, repair, refurbishment, overhaul and / or commissioning: as directed by Work Order, for all HVAC items and systems requiring corrective maintenance.
  • Maintaining adequate records & logs of work, including updating client's Computerised Management System (CMS). Communicating daily / weekly reports to maintenance leads.
  • Provide coaching and assistance to COMPANY technicians on all aspects associated with the operation and maintenance of the HVAC systems, including, refrigeration, chilled water distribution, heating medium, electrically operated components, instrumentation, fire dampers and pressure control dampers.
  • Participate in client's Maintenance Management System and maintain records of all work done, completed or deferred.
  • If requested provide advice on applicability & suitability of Planned Maintenance Routines
  • Liaise with our client and COMPANY representatives to ensure work planning, technical issues, resource logistics are and material procurement requirements are understood and progressed by all relevant parties.
  • Advise on all aspects of compliance, or non-compliance, with Client's Performance Standards
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by our client or COMPANY management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and job holder is capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
  • Demonstrate a positive and pro-active commitment to HSE through the personal of safety critical behaviours.
  • Carry out servicing, repairing, troubleshooting installations, maintenance and commissioning on Air conditioning and Refrigeration systems.

Personal Specification

  • Time-served apprenticeship or evidence of training in an engineering discipline.
  • University degree preferred in mechanical discipline
  • Alternative qualifications or relevant experience shall be considered.
  • Evidence of training associated with site technician's skillset
  • * Significant evidence of HVAC refrigeration experience with appropriate certification.
  • Level 3 or Level 4 Electrical Training (Russian regulative)
  • Essential is for relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry or a minimum of 8 years in a similar role with comprehensive hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures
  • Good technical team and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
