922339 - HSEQ Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit an HSEQ Engineer for a contract position based in Aberdeenshire

Key Responsibilites will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensure that group policies are fully implemented
  • Develop the companys integrated management system for HSEQ and ensure that it is implemented consistently across the company
  • Monitor, evaluate and review existing and upcoming legislation and ensuring that appropriate systems and procedures are in place to maintain legal compliance
  • Ensure rigorous risk assessment, incident management and corrective action systems are in place
  • Provide technical HSEQ support to live projects and provide general support and assistance as required
  • Identify training needs in relation to HSEQ in conjunction with managers and team leaders
  • Manage the company audit programme and actively participate in the ongoing audit, review and continuous improvement of company systems, procedures and methods of work
  • Provide HSEQ advise to the company
  • Report regularly on HSEQ liabilities, KPI's, trends and opportunities to inform directors
  • Maintain and develop professional knowledge and skills by participating in recognised and relevant continuing professional development programmes

This is a contract position

The rate for this position is negotiable
