Skills & Requirements:

The position requires a candidate with proven HSSE Management experience in Offshore project delivery in all phases of design, fabrication, construction, commissioning and start--up. The role will involve considerable engagement with senior stakeholders (internal and external) and requires:

  • Extensive years of oil & gas project HSSE delivery including experience in leadership positions in Projects.
  • A proven track record of leading teams, collaboratively working with multi-cultural contractors, preferably in diverse and distributed environments.
  • Accredited as a HSSE in Projects Technical Assurance level 2 (or can demonstrate equivalent experience delivering all disciplines of HSSE and SP in a Project).
  • Previous experience of developing, engaging and successfully gaining acceptance of facility Safety Cases with NOPSEMA across all Project phases.
  • Demonstrated competency in successful delivery of technical safety on a major project.
  • There is a strong preference for candidates with Technical Safety background
  • Demonstrated ability to drive timely decision-making and implementation by the project team through appropriate command, influence and respectful persistence.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in working with the multiple and complex stakeholder engagement

General profile:

We are looking for an experienced Project Health, Security, Safety, Environment and Social Performance (HSSE & SP) Manager who is skilled in particular in Technical Safety Engineering and Safety Leadership, knowledgeable about other HSSE & SP areas (Health, Construction Safety, Security, Environment and Social Performance), has strong and recent experience with the NOPSEMA regulator, can manage a team of HSE professionals, has credibility, builds strong relations, can work effectively in Project Leadership Teams and has a track record of delivering results in mega projects.
