We are looking for a talented HR Manager with full spectrum of HR/facilities knowledge and relevant
offshore and onshore oil & gas experience background to join our team and participate in the full
spectrum HR Operational process from beginning to end in Kota Kinabalu Sabah. Preference will be given
to the local Sabahan as top priority.

As a HR Manager, you have in-depth knowledge of HR Operational best practices and compliances. Your
confident with strong people skills are expected from you. You need to possess a proven track record in
Industrial Relations and Union / Collective Agreement Management. Ultimately, you should be able to
lead the full operational administration and coordination and ensure that we always meet our staff
requirements and foremost the operational necessities in time including the offshore and onshore


* To lead and ensure in the delivery of an efficient, timely and accurate Human Resources (HR) service
to Managers and onshore/domestic and offshore Employees in KK.

* Provide advice and guidance on the application of Company HR policies and procedures.

* Provide timely communication to manager and union personnel regarding new initiatives and policies,
including relevant regulatory updates.

* Responsible for labor relations functions and maintaining necessary activities that promote an
effective Union / Management relation.

* Liaise with government offices, agencies and Trade Union pertaining to employee related issue and
Malaysian labor Laws.

* Ensure strict compliance with regards to the employment practices and processes for the Offshore
Employment and Payrolls.

* Provide specialist advice to Managers/Offshore supervisors and Employees on employee benefits in line with company policies and support implementation of initiatives from North Sabah Project reward.

* Ensure that HR delivery within the requirements of the relevant local employment legislation.

* Provide advice and manage disciplinary and grievance hearings ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to.

* Support HR Senior Executive/Exec by providing professional guidance where required.

* Suggesting, implementing and maintaining HR processes, policies and handbooks for Offshore employees.

* Participate in specific HR related project work and suggest improvements to current practices.

* Provide support to Group Compensation and Benefits on Compensation and Benefits issues for personnel within area of responsibility.

* Manage absence for personnel within area of responsibility, identify potential problems and provide appropriate advice to management on the best course of action required. Including liaising with the Company Medical Advisors as required

* Maintain disciplinary action database

* Supports all the HR Reporting's, Analysis, Quarterly Reviews, Annual Reviews with MPM together with the Head of HR (KL).


* Previous relevant work experience within a similar role and providing HR advice to Management and Employees in relation to Sabah regulations.

* 7-9 years experience in Human Resource with direct experience in Industrial Relations.

* Strong knowledge of Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and Trade Union Act.

* Good working knowledge of employment legislation and interpretation of HR policies & procedures.

* Experience in concluding collective agreement and dealing with Union

* Solid knowledge of HR reporting, CCI analysis and WP&B (including the YECO and PBE) implementations in oil and gas industry

* Good understanding of Human Resources Information Systems is an added advantage.

* An excellent communication and people skill in unionized environment is an added advantage.

* Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline

* Familiarity with the PSC HR Logistics environment.

* Experienced visit to offshore with valid BOSIET - OPITO safety passport is added advantage.

* At least BSc degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field
