We are currently looking to recruit a HR Business Partner on behalf of our Client, a major independent care provider in the UK.

Successful candidate will support three designated areas and be responsible for the delivery of a professional, business-focused HR operational service to meet customer needs and Employee Service's KPI's.

Working closely with the General Managers and Regional Directors you will provide guidance and support on all employee relations and engagement matters. This support will be provided through visits to the regions, in addition to telephone and email advice, training/coaching and mediation.

Main responsibilities:

  • To provide the division with analysis of absence and turnover with a priority focus on the top 5 highest % covering any other "hot spots" for action, undertaking
    • Site visits
    • Investigation/analysis
    • Providing support and training/coaching
    • To develop and agree actions plans and monitor and report
    • Achieve HR KPI's
  • To support the management of 'high risk' cases ensuring timely and effective resolution, covering but not limited to:
  • Disciplinary & Disciplinary Appeals
    • Grievance and dispute resolution
    • Suspensions
    • Whistleblowing
    • Discrimination
    • Duty of Candor
    • Consultation and negotiation of contractual changes
    • Performance Management - specifically capability
    • Redundancy
    • Absence/Occupational Health Referral Management
  • Effective resolution of all litigation matters including ACAS pre claim conciliation and Employment Tribunal claims
  • Delivering inductions for new General Managers/ Regional Directors
  • Delivery of HR related training / webinars and provide any additional training/coaching required to ensure competence and compliance
  • Attendance at all Divisional/Regional meetings providing Employee Services briefings, management updates and presentations.
  • Agreeing with the Lead HR Business Partner any other key operational priorities utilising the Predictive Risk Report / KPI Report / Highest Agency, undertaking any diagnostics and agreeing actions plans, monitoring and reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with all internal customers
  • Attending conferences as required
  • Escalating any key ES/L&D/Recruitment concerns to the relevant Director
  • Responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and timely submission of any referrals to the industry bodies, supported by the HR Administrator:
  • Providing any operational support in ES matters as identified and agreed
  • Recording and updating of all internal reports used by the ES Team.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the wider HR Teams in order to develop seamless processes and timely solutions
  • Project related work and team activities, which may include but not limited to:
    • Supporting in policy development/improvement
    • Taking the lead on an area of HR policy expertise, proactively providing guidance to HR and the business as appropriate
    • Further develop standardized and/or streamlined HR procedures and practices

CIPD qualifications are required.

Valid UK driving licence is also mandatory as the succesful candidate will be required to undertake frequent visits to the regions.

This is a permanent role with excellent slary package and additional benefits.
