Leading international Oil & Gas company based in West London is seeking a HR Business Partner who has a generalist background. This is a long term contract until March 2019 therefore long term commitment is required.

This role will provide support to the wider HR team in the UK as polices, processes and procedures are updated or implemented during a period of organisational change. These are likely to be across the range of HR disciplines including HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition and Reward.

The HRBP will have the ability to provide a proactive HR support to teams in West London, the wider UK business and to developing overseas offices.

In both cases there is a need to operate within a small team and develop/maintain strong relationships with managers, senior staff, employees and contractors, overseas colleagues, demonstrating a firm understanding of the business objectives and challenges.

There may also be a need to carry out ad-hoc projects as required.

Experience

  • CIPD or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and the ability to transfer this knowledge into effective policies, processes and procedures.
  • In-depth understanding of the HR function, having previously worked in a business partnering style role.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a fast paced team with high quality service delivery at the heart.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize in a busy and complex environment.
  • Ability to work on a wide variety of activities at any one time and deal with a changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in oil and gas industry would be preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and use of Livelink or similar system.
  • Knowledge of Workday or similar HR systems would be an advantage.
  • Ability to travel within the UK, potentially overseas if required.
