Job description

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant to join our Client based in Evanton, Ross-shire. This will initially be on a contract basis with a view of becoming a permanent position.

The role will be mainly focussed on providing HR support including, but not limited to:

  • Assisting with recruitment process
  • New start, leaver and contract amendment administration
  • Sickness absence monitoring
  • Maintaining employee records and HRI systems
  • Monthly reporting
  • Occupational Health scheduling and record keeping
  • Ad-hoc tasks to support operations

To successful candidate will be expected to have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and numeracy skills
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
  • Flexibility
  • Previous experience of working within an engineering environment would be advantageous however is not essential
