Host Facility Planner

Host Facility Planner will be responsible for maintaining Host Facility Project Schedule/s and earned value reporting. This includes verifying that all the scopes are fully identified, sufficiently detailed and correctly progressed in the schedule for the life of the Project using scheduling Critical Path Method (CPM).

Tasks include:

  • Works with key Contractors to ensure the timely provision of all required Schedules and Earned Value Reports, reviewing and confirming inputs provided including resource loading.
  • Reviews Contractors' detailed Schedule with the appropriate PMT members to gain Schedule endorsement and ensure activities are understood.
  • Incorporates Contractor Schedules into the Master Schedule.
  • Incorporates progress into the Master progress measurement system.
  • Performs analysis on the project schedule and prepares reports on the variances.
  • Develops Key Performance Indicators, in conjunction with Contractors, and ensures timely provision of information to Project Management.
  • Escalates concerns to the Discipline Leads and Lead Planner including changes to schedules, significant variance between plan and forecast dates or delays in receiving information from the Contractor.
  • Regularly updates current, dynamic project schedules ensuring adherence to proper CPM scheduling.
  • Informs Discipline Lead and Lead Planner of any Schedule areas of concern including delays in receiving information from the Contractor.
  • Reviews the Schedule planned dates in all contracts and change orders for the Host Facility and updates the schedule accordingly.
  • Facilitates schedule review workshops.
  • Participates in risk modeling and schedule optimization scenario development.
  • Attends Contractor meetings and performs ad hoc reporting as required.


  • Fabrication yard and offshore scheduling including facilities installation, hook-up and commissioning experience is required, including progress measurement.
  • Must be a technically strong self starter.
  • Operator experience preferred.
