Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Health & Safety Advisor - Operation based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities Include:
Drive conformance with the companies operating management system
Assess the safety performance of assets through analysis of leading and lagging indicators,
Develop and support delivery of the HSE plan for asset
Manage H&S delivery to the asset through strong leadership of the associated HSE Site Leeds on those assets
Liaise with specialist resource in health, environment, regulatory compliance, crisis and continuity management on issue resolution
Manage HSE regulatory requirements, including conformance to legislation and interface with regulators
Manage all aspects of asset safety case excluding 5 yearly thorough review , including delegated responsibility for ensuring it remains current, managing 3rd party resource support and studies and material changes to the safety case
Lead and partake in investigations. Provide regular overview of investigation quality for tagged assets ensuring compliance to relevant procedures and learnings are captured and shared within the asset and region as required.
Undertake regular visits to site throughout the year
Support the line in maintaining HSE risk profile/registers to ensure that workplace/operational hazards are properly documented and controlled.
Complete Formal Technical Assessments and Self Verification activities allocated to the role
Support development, review, update and application of ORA, performance standards, asset and function risks and technical safety studies.

Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Engineering, Science, HSE related preferred, IOSH Graduate member required (working towards chartership),
Proven track record in managing HSE performance across operating assets or functions
Indicative years of relevant experience
