Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Graduate process engineer in clean energy on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Surrey.

The company will provide training and guidance to develop a graduate into a career process engineer within:

  • Design of hydrogen plants (green and blue)
  • Design of hydrogen compression, storage and systems at users' locations
  • Design od CCUS systems
  • Design of power-to-X plants
  • Design of solar PV facilities
  • Design of wind farms

The activities associated with the role are as follows:

  • Act a as a scribe for HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, SAFOP and other workshops associated to clean energy plants
  • Perform preparatory activities as part of safety studies development (e.g. inventories mark-ups and stream simplification)
  • Help in identifying knowledge gaps for clean energy processes and defining future actions
  • Develop specific presentations for clients on hydrogen compression, transport and industrial uses
  • Prepare graphical images and schematics for potential applications
  • Identify and keep a database of external consultants and companies for each activity
  • Review relevant scientific literature in the field and identify possibility for expanding engineering consultancy capabilities
  • Identify list of equipment which are required by each technology - from in house information plus literature review
  • Review what information is available on the web for each supplier and identify gaps, prepare request to the suppliers to collect missing data, review supplier responses and ask further questions if needed
  • Organise available data in a structured manner
