Our client is one of the UK's largest online technology companies based in Edinburgh. An existing opportunity has to come to market for an Interim Google Analytics Analyst Digital to join a creative, forward thinking Product team.

Day to day here's what you can expect;

Our client requires some interim support for a period of 3 - 6 months to audit and improve our clients current setup, as well as take messy sets of data, uncover actionable insights, and turn insights into compelling stories.


What you would do:

  • Audit and optimise existing Google Analytics and Tag Manager implementations.
  • Create and/or update conversion funnels.
  • Configuration of reporting views and their filters.
  • Audit and troubleshoot issues with analytics and tags.
  • Implement online tracking, tagging and analytics infrastructure and solutions to provide accurate, actionable data to the business.
  • Implement cutting edge analytics solutions to help us become best-in-class data handlers.
  • Consult with stakeholders throughout the business to shape and implement solutions in support of business objectives.
  • Play a key role in shaping website development solutions, creating the right governance and safety checks to maintain tracking accuracy.
  • Assist in documenting relevant information for long-term maintenance including processes and setup/implementation.
Requirements

Skills:

  • Significant experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Proven experience with GA and GTM implementations - especially upgrading from Classic to Universal.
  • Google Analytics certified.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript.
  • Proficient with debugging tools.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing.
  • Experience in implementing A/B testing tools with GA.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Ability to understand the needs of the business and use it to improve our clients tracking strategy.
  • Ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits

Competitive Daily Rate £200 to £300 per day (dependant on experience) + Minimum 3 - 6 month assignment
