Goods In / WorkshopTechnician

Location - Wednesbury, Midlands

Contract role - immediate start

Rates - Basic £11.00 per hour + overtime £16.50 per hour

Our client, a successful automotive testing business is currently sourcing a Workshop Technician/ Forklift Driver for minimum 3 months contract role.

Skills required:

Valid Forklift truck license desired

Experience of operating simple workshop machinery is preferred but not essential

Experience of working within a test environment is preferred but not essential

Good general education

Good practical and analytical skills

An inquisitive approach to product engineering and testing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels

The ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and coordinate

Excellent attention to detail

Duties:

Manufacturing and installing test samples onto jigs and fixtures

Preparation and testing of materials and components

Maintaining accurate and systematic records in accordance with documented procedures

Adhering to regulations and laboratory policies regarding health, safety and quality.

Maintaining clean and hygienic working environment

Ensuring Health & Safety is enforced in working areas

Ensuring Quality System is enforced in working areas, including maintenance of equipment
