Job description

We have a current opportunity for a FPSO Project Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in Paris - Must have the right to work and reside in the EU without sponsorship to be considered, this is a non-negotiable requirement. Development studies for Blocks 20 & 21 are performed by the GPI, which is a multi-disciplinary and dedicated structure, acting on behalf of the Affiliate in accordance to HQ processes in terms of methodology and
governance. This choice is justified by project context, field complexity and the overall project schedule (Fast -
track project, 5 years from farm-in and operatorship transfer to First Oil).
The development consists in production by subsea wells to a spread moored FPSO ( 80 kbopd, 85 kbwpd, 400
MMscfd gas reinjection, oil tandem offloading) with a contextualized Technical Referential

Place of service
Position based in Paris (France) with potential missions in Asia, until the FID (planned for 2022) then within the FPSO
contractor premises after contract award, (expat position). The position is needed until FID within the pre-FEED project team and will evolve, after FID, within the project execution-team new organisation.

Tasks to be performed
The Job Holder shall:
* HSE:
o Demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regards to HSE,
o Implement HSE requirements within his area of responsibility.
* Organization:
o Assist the FPSO team members upon request,
o Liaise and regularly communicate with the relevant HQ and Affiliate entities on FPSO Package
Manager and FPSO Technical Lead request,
* Engineering:
o Provide support to the FPSO Technical Lead and the FPSO engineering team, in coordinating
the engineering and value engineering studies performed for the FPSO Contractors
o Manage resolution of technical issues in coordination with technical specialists in charge
o Control and review the topsides design and layouts.
o Monitor the topsides weight.
* Interfaces:
o Participate on interfaces management with all other concerned packages (Drilling, SPS,
SURF and Field Operations),
* Project Management:
o Organize and participate in weekly/monthly progress meetings on request
o Develop internal procedures if needed,
o Assist in development and follow-up of the planning for the FPSO Package,
o Organize and participate to Project Reviews,
o Anticipate problems in his field of activity and propose solutions or optimizations to the FPSO
Technical Leader and FPSO Package Manager,
o Ensure continuity of activities during FPSO Package Manager or FPSO Technical Lead
absence,
o Follow-up of any specific subject as requested by FPSO Package Manager or FPSO
Technical Lead absence.
o Coordinate his activities with other Project engineers assigned to the Package and to the Projects
* Reporting & Communication:
o Ensure adequate and timely reporting to the FPSO Technical leader and FPSO Package
Manager
o Assist the FPSO Manager with the relations with Concessionaire / Partners regarding FPSO
matters and prepare and participate to Workshops & Committees with Partners and
Concessionaire when required
o Ensure confidentiality of all the documentation produced
* Contract Management (Call For Tender, Change Order):
o Assist the FPSO Manager with the engineering inputs required for the FPSO related Call For
Tender, Clarification & evaluation process and contracts management.
o Participate in CFT clarification meeting, and ensure follow-up activities
o Provide assistance to FPSO contract engineer for the follow-up of correspondence and
contract activities when related to technical and engineering subjects
o Assist the FPSO team for the preparation of the RTA.

Technical Prerequisites
* Advanced expertise in Project Engineering
* Communication, "out-of-the-box" thinking, ability to convince, transverse coordination, organized and
ability to put issues into perspective
* Service provided in French and English in a multicultural environment
