Finance Manager



  • Become a key member of the Management Team
  • Take on overall responsibility for the Finance Department and Finance Function
  • Refine and maintain solid financial systems and practices within the business
  • Help develop the business plan for business growth across the group
  • Ensure the company achieves the targets set out in the business plan
  • Review and monitor funding levels and secure funding if required
  • Manage cash flow to ensure immediate and future cash flow requirements are met
  • Manage the Finance Team, including recruitment and staff development
  • Provide financial visibility of all areas across the business, via Management Information, using historical information, to influence and accurately forecast the future
  • Analyse numbers and spot trends to focus resources on increasing profits and cost reduction
  • Assist with some commercial and operational aspects of the business including tendering, credit control, networking and wider business management
  • Ensure that all team members are clear on their role and objectives within the business
  • Ensure business compliance across all fronts: financial, environmental, quality and H&S - (support would be given)
  • Ensure, through consultation with tax experts that our business is structured optimally for tax purposes
  • Manage Banking, Funding and Insurance relationships
  • Any other duties required by the business.
