The position is newly created and will head up a small team of accounts support staff. Reporting into the MD there is a rare and realistic opportunity for the successful candidate to progress to Finance Director Level.

Responsibilities:

  • You will analyse business performance drive delivery of key objectives and partner with the MD to outline strategic plans.
  • Managing the small finance team you will be responsible for some mentoring and development to build a high performing team.
  • Actively work alongside the commercial and operational business units.
  • Demonstrate an ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Create monthly P&L reporting show the profitability of the business.
  • Identify opportunities or risks to planned financial out-turns, and work to mitigate risks and realise opportunities.
  • Work to improve the level and accuracy of MI, both financial and operational.
  • Ensure accuracy of the balance sheet and cash flow forecasting

Candidates will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified and have experience working for a manufacturing business.

There is an excellent salary and package on offer and clear line of progression into Finance Director.
