We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with managerial experience within an oil & gas business.

Candidates should be:
Chartered Accountant/CIMA Qualified
Be able to undertake monthly and annual P&L accounts
UK and International Tax Reporting.

Responsibilities will include:
Tax compliance through quarterly VAT preparation, corporate tax instalment calculation, annual corporation tax return preparation (tax pack preparation, controlled foreign corporation report, IXBRL report with external consultants) and any other requirements as per the HMRC and local authorities.
Audit tasks such as coordination of annual external audits, dealing with external auditors, preparing annual report and financial statements, prepare and coordinate posting of audit adjustment in SAP, coordinate interaction between reporting, supply chain and other departments to provide documentation and support to stakeholders and auditors
Carry out monthly intrastate report preparation and provide national statistical information
Accounting and Controlling, reviewing monthly account information such as profit and loss, balance sheets as prepared by the Reporting Department, perform plant cost analysis with operations and industrial planning departments
Administration of Pension Plan Funds, coordinating interaction between company / trustees / pension fund administrator & actuary
Support the preparation of transfer price reports and transfer price analysis in collaboration respectively with Global Tax and Reporting Departments. Coordination of Transfer Price compliance activities
Support Planning Department in preparation of the yearly fixed expenses budget for UK office and for Country Manager UK. Supervise and approve office expenses monitoring their deviation versus budget
Interaction with corporate legal department and local solicitors, agents and brokers in respect of various matters like review and preparation of contracts and communications with third parties
