I am currently recruiting for an experienced Factory Foreman, Joinery background an advantage.
This role will be based in Moray and is a full time permanent position.

Responsibilities

Ensure the day-to-day allocation of work to the all factory employees is clear and concise
Attend meetings along with the Production Manager
Ensure the awareness and implementation of, and compliance with, the Quality, Health & Safety and Human Resource Polices and Procedures, with any doubts being raised with the Production Manager, for all subordinates and Subcontractors
Review the work packages and work instructions and allocate the necessary resources to achieve the required completion dates and quality.
Ensure that the man-hour budgets set for the factory are achieved as well as the associated costs.
Organise and manage agreed resources to achieve required deadlines, highlighting any conflicts to the Production Manager
Day to day supervision of staff in accordance with established Procedures
Ensure that the factory space is planned efficiently and effectively
Ensure the best utilisation of the work force
Report on all completed work
Attend meetings timeously as and when required given suitable notice
Report any job-related problems/issues to Production Manager
Randomly inspect work in progress to ensure that it meets with the requirements specified on the drawings and work instructions and the overall quality sought by the company
Assist the Production Manager with preparing the weekly delivery programme
Report any accidents/near misses immediately to the Production Manager
Ensure the Health and Safety of all Subcontractors while working in the factory environment and ensure that their equipment conforms to Safety Regulations
Qualifications

Experience of working in a similiar production environment with strong Quality, Health & Safety awareness.
Excellent supervisory/foreman skills with the ability of distrbuting workload to staff in accordance to achieivng production deadlines.
