Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Facilities Engineer, based Offshore.

Responsibilities will include:
Offshore focal point for all MOC construction and pre-commissioning scopes, ensuring any related support issues are addressed, and that the appropriate technical support is provided to the operations teams onshore and offshore. It will also support the forthcoming Planned Shutdown scopes.
Liaise with operations colleagues and reporting line to MOC Co-ordinator based onshore
Ensuring that all requirements, deadlines, and support services for FPSO Operations, Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Materials are met and carried out safely by offshore personnel
Carry out permit audits
Participate in equipment failure investigations and incident investigations as required
Management of Sub Contractors and suppliers ensuring supporting vendors and suppliers comply with company standards i.e. Safety Management, Quality Management and Corporate Social Responsibility
Multi discipline construction / commissioning focal point, based offshore, ideally with some experience of working for an operator

Experience/Knowledge
Good communicator and ability to report clearly and concisely
Good understanding of completions system through construction, commissioning and dynamic commissioning
Ability to work as a member or leader of a team and communicate effectively with onshore and offshore staff at all levels
Demonstrable skills in Construction & Commissioning problem solving
An awareness of budgetary control and the ability to deliver tasks safely to program and within cost targets
An awareness and ideally experience in working as part of an Operations Team
Demonstrable knowledge of business and operational planning processes

Contract position - equal time rotation of 3/3 until June/July 2020
